Within the Mackay region we offer a variety of local ad hoc shifts. Local work varies greatly in need. There is no hard and fast rule to say how frequently our local facilities will require agency nurses.

There may also be opportunities that arise for short term work (of a few consecutive shifts with accommodation provided for the duration of work) outside of the Mackay region, within a couple of hours drive, where we call on local nurses who are available for the requested timeframes and happy to go a little further afield but only for shorter periods.

All local ad hoc shifts are paid at agency rates of pay and for a minimum of 3 hours (some one-off jobs such as life insurance medicals may just be for a duration of an hour or so). |
