Within the Mackay region we offer a variety of local ad hoc shifts. Local work varies greatly in need. There is no hard and fast rule to say how frequently our local facilities will require agency nurses.

There may also be opportunities that arise for short term work (of a few consecutive shifts with accommodation provided for the duration of work) outside of the Mackay region, within a couple of hours drive, where we call on local nurses who are available for the requested timeframes and happy to go a little further afield but only for shorter periods.

So whether you’re available for a few shifts a week or a few shifts a year, we welcome Registered Nurses / Endorsed Enrolled Nurses residing in the local area, to register with us to join our pool of local nurses who are happy to be called upon when a shift / job arises within the Mackay region. Please note: we cannot guarantee this as an ongoing source of full-time work, however if it is short-term full-time work you are looking for, please feel free to discuss this with us, as there may be opportunities for full-time contract work to local facilities.
